Vice President Shen extended a warm welcome to the delegation and to their participation in the World Youth Conference for Peace, hosted by the CPAFFC. He noted that, since its founding more than 70 years ago, the CPAFFC has remained committed to promoting world peace and common development, while working tirelessly to strengthen friendship between the Chinese people and peoples around the world, and to advance international cooperation. International sports exchanges are an important component of China's distinctive major power diplomacy, as well as a key avenue for putting into practice the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind. Such exchanges offer an effective platform for promoting dialogue and mutual understanding among different countries and civilizations, thereby fostering closer people-to-people ties. The CPAFFC looks forward to establishing a long-term friendly and cooperative relationship with the Ibero-American Sports Council and to jointly developing distinctive, high-impact sports and cultural exchange programs with broad public participation, building more bridges for people-to-people engagement, cultural exchange, and youth friendship.

Caceres remarked that sports is a universal language that transcends national borders and serves as a powerful force for uniting the peoples of the world. He expressed the hope that, alongside cooperation in professional areas such as sports infrastructure, coaching, and athlete exchanges, the scope of engagement with China would continue to expand, integrating the spirit of sports into global development and making sports a tool for fostering mutual understanding, friendship, and solidarity between the peoples of Ibero-America and China.
